• Aditya solar shops reached 104 mark

  165 AKSHAY URJA SHOPS FOR 16 STATES A total of 104 Aditya Solar Shops were established in the country under an erstwhile scheme of the Ministry. Under a revised scheme, the shops are now being established as Akshay Urja Shops. The scheme aims at establishment of one Shop in each district. A total of 165 Akshay Urja Shops have been approved for 16 States. This was stated by the Minister of State for New and Renewable Energy, Shri Vilas Muttemwar in a reply to a question by Shri Ajit Jogi in Lok Sabha. He further added that the scheme provides for soft loan at an interest rate of 7% to a maximum of Rs. 10.00 lakh for setting up the shop. A recurring grant and incentive of Rs.10,000/- per month is also available over a period of two years subject to certain eligibility conditions. Be First to give comment
