• Impetus among the Top 5 at the 2010 GSMA Mobile Innovation Grand Prix Competition – APAC Tournament

  New Delhi, November 05, 2009: Impetus Technologies (www.impetus.com), the pioneers in outsourced product development and engineering services is among the Top 5 shortlisted companies to compete for the 2010 GSMA Mobile Innovation Grand Prix- APAC Tournament. The GSMA’s Mobile Innovation Grand Prix Competition is a highly regarded award competition in the mobile industry. It recognizes breakthrough technology, applications, and services in the mobile industry by showcasing smaller start-up companies developing innovative products and solutions. The 5 shortlisted entries will be presented to the panel of judges at the GSMA Mobile Asia Congress 2010. The event is scheduled for November 18-19, 2009 in Hong Kong. Impetus nominated its innovative energy-saving utility application, Green Charging for this award. Green Charging notifies a user when the battery of the mobile phone is fully charged by emitting sound and vibration. The application also displays, in percentage, information such as the battery status, stand by time and talk-time. Impetus won the “GSMA’s Mobile Innovation Global Award– APAC Tournament, 2009” last year for its application ‘Mandi Bhav’ in the Vertical Market category.
