Commodities market likely to seek direction this week
January 4, 2010 09:58:07The markets witnessed a lower-turnover week along expected lines as the year end impacted trader activity negatively. The MCX recorded a 19% decline in week-on-week turnover and the market-wide open interest rose 5%. The turnover gainers were cardamom, crude palm oil, heating oil, lead, potato and refined soya oil.
